My client is perhaps one of the largest and fastest expanding casual dining restaurant concepts in the UK today, with a current portfolio of nearly 180, and a solid business plan taking them nearer to the 400 mark within the next 5 years. They aim to organically grow their General Managers from the business and reward them with a progressive career, supported all the way. If you need to learn it, they will teach it to you!
They are currently seeking a vibrant and dynamic ASSISTANT MANAGER to join one of their large and prominent sites in the beautiful area near West Byfleet, and support the current General Manager to take this site to new heights! This restaurant does A LOT of food, and experience in dealing with high volume is essential to making you successful.
As the ASSISTANT MANAGER, you will be responsible for:
** Smooth running of the restaurant whilst on shift;
** Ensuring that all staff are trained and fully competent with the service standards expected;
** Being a brand ambassador, leading your team from the front with a ‘hands on’ approach;
** Some understanding of the financial side of a business would be highly advantageous.
The ideal candidate will currently be involved in a food and beverage environment at Assistant or Deputy level, and would have held this position for at least 12 months. You will have proven experience in running busy shifts, and managing large teams. Branded experience would be highly advantageous. You will be self motivated, ambitious and have passion and drive to move you career forward.
The remuneration is up to £22,000 for the ideal candidate, plus a string of FANTASTIC benefits including a pension scheme, life assurance and free share options.
