My client a well-established IT services organisation based in Stockport currently requires an Assistant Management Accountant to join their thriving and forward thinking accounts team.
Working closely with the Management Accountants team you will assist with a variety of duties.
You will:
-Assist with the production for sets of management accounts
-Assist with the control of the financial reporting for several subsidiary companies
-Assist with budgeting and forecasting on P&L
-Assist with Cashflows and Balance Sheets
-Preparing the monthly journals
As a key role within the finance team, this position will also involve building relationships with a number of key areas within the business such as sales, operations and marketing.
As your role and training continue to develop you will undertake more complex duties and take a more senior position within the organisation.
You will be a self-motivated, career focused individual who is keen on developing a career as a Management Accountant.
Ideally you will be studying towards your CIMA/ACCA qualification and have previous exposure to accounts preparation.
