We are seeking an experienced Assistant Analyst to work for this expanding company. You must have previous experience of producing regualr internal and External reports and provide support to information and data manager.
The duties will include:
Routine Reporting: Work with stakeholders to assist in developing, delivering and maintaining reports. Generating reports within a timeframe agreed with managers/stakeholders. Reports including:
• Performance reports (performance against KPIs)
• Activity and productivity reports
Ad-Hoc Reporting: Receive and process requests for information from managers and stakeholders. Works with requestors to understand the use of the information and ensure requirements are suitably defined. Report back information in compliance with company policies and procedures. Reports including:
• Investigative reports
• Activity reports
• Audits
Report Automation: Assist in the automation of information extracts and routine reports, bringing together various information sources to provide detailed analysis.
Analysis and Presentation: Analyse complex and sensitive data, providing insight and interpretation of information that adds value and understanding for service managers and stakeholders. Present data in an accessible format given the needs and skills of the recipient.
Exception Reporting: Investigates instances where the business has failed to meet KPIs and records the reasons for non-compliance, collating the data to identify trends.
Managing Workload: Prioritise commitments, balancing routine and ad-hoc reporting requests from the Group and its stakeholders. Seeks approval for prioritisations from line manager and communicate workload and successes to the information team.
Knowledge of:
• Understanding of a range of statistical methods
• Report presentation methods
• Understanding of technical data issues, including data capture, retrieval and processing
• All IT Systems relevant to the organisation
• Comprehensive knowledge of Excel
• Access databases and SQL reporting
Skills:
