Assistant Accountant

My client, a rapidly growing business based in Cambridge, have a requirement for a bright, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their finance team in this newly created role due to promotion.

You will assist with various daily tasks from Purchase/Sales Ledger and Cashbook maintenance, through to reporting, Balance Sheet reconciliations and Month End procedures. You will assist subsidiaries with their financial responsibilities and proactively collect information from these entities for group consolidations.

The ideal candidate will have strong GCSE's and A level's or a business/finance/accountancy degree. You will be AAT Qualified or looking to commence CIMA/ACCA with the desire to progress quickly through to full qualification. The ability to communicate with people at all levels and strong attention to detail are also key attributes.
