Assistant Accountant

Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a well known, established organisation in the local area.

My client are looking for an Assistant Accountant who can add value to the accounts team for a 9 month temporary contract.

Core duties
-Assisting to produce the Profit and Loss reports
-Compiling an analysis on this years P& L against last year
-Actuals against budget
-Producing journals to identify reasons for the discrepancies
-Projecting future sales
-KPI Analysis - this year against last year and actuals to budgets.
-Assisting with Month end
- Management Accounts Preparation and Reporting
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Accounts Payable and Expenses
- External and Internal Relations and Corporate Image
