Assessor / Tutor - Motor Vehicle

My client, a successful private training provider based in the North East of England, may be looking to appoint a new member to their professional team in the near future.

Your key objective and responsibility will be to support the delivery of NVQ qualifications, Technical Certificate and Key Skills to learners on the Apprenticeship Programme. Support on additional learning needs provided from a dedicated Tutor.

This dual role will require you to Assess a caseload of learners working primarily towards their NVQ qualifications in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair level 2.

In addition, you will be required to be in Centre each week to deliver the relevant Technical Certificates as well as embedding Key Skills as required.

This varied role requires you to be a strong team member, being flexible to work to the requirements of the programme.

Ideally you will have/be;

·Relevant knowledge or experience gained within adult training environment

·A1 Assessor qualification or equivalent essential

·Adult teaching qualification essential

·Relevant vocational experience and qualifications essential

-Strong communication skills verbal and written

·Knowledge of the Apprenticeship Programme advantageous

·Strong communication, organisational and planning skills

This is a permanent position offering a basic salary £20k - £27k (flexible depending upon experience and qualifications) plus benefits package
