Job Title: ASSESSOR / INTERNAL VERIFIER - ENGINEERING
Location: Coventry
Salary: 23,895 PER ANNUM A non-consolidated payment of £1,000 will be paid over the first 2 years of employment.

Your role will be to support students in successfully completing their course and achieving a relevant qualification, including the assessing of students` performance and ensuring that the competence and knowledge demonstrated meets the requirements of the course programme. You will also act as Internal Verifier for the Engineering programme area and monitor the assessment process to ensure consistency and quality across a range of assessors.
You must hold the Assessors Award (A Units or equivalent) and the Verifiers Award (V Unit or equivalent) as well as a relevant qualification at level 2 in mechanical/manufacturing engineering as a minimum. You must also hold or be prepared to work towards the CTLLS qualification within a specified timeframe. Recent or current experience of working in an Engineering environment and of assessing against competence based frameworks is essential.
A current driving licence and access to a vehicle is a requirement of this post as the role will involve travelling to various sites.
The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check.
