Job Description
As the Asia Procurement Program Manager you will be fully responsible for leading the procure-to-pay program including the design, planning, implementation and rollout of the necessary systems, processes and initiatives across the Asia Pacific region. You will work closely with global partners and regional teams to oversee the purchasing strategies, processes and systems. With strong experience in the procurement function you will ensure full compliance of purchasing activities through reporting, monitoring and process mapping. Also responsible for managing supplier programs including preferred suppliers, integrated suppliers, eSourcing and contract management. Working with other head of departments including Finance and IT, you will develop best practices and standardisation of procedures to enhance the ERP set up. As a proactive manager you will continually review procurement processes in order to improve efficiencies, enhance supplier due diligence and consolidate vendor lists.
Requirements:
Candidates will be degree educated in engineering or technical equivalent. Must have a minimum of 6 years working experience in a regional consulting, business or professional role. Candidates must have excellent experience with ERPs, SAP, technical processes and ERP program implementation. Excellent understanding of procurement/sourcing tools and the P2P process, as well as in depth knowledge of strategic sourcing, vendor management and due diligence. Excellent contract writing skills with strong analytical, people management and communication skills are essential. Must be fluent in written and verbal English.
