Our client is well established and fast growing an asbestos consultancy providing a range of asbestos and environmental services to a cross section of clients across the UK.
Due to continuous growth of the business, they are currently seeking the services of an Asbestos Surveyor to work in South Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.
The successful candidate must hold the P402 asbestos certificates and must have experience working within this role and within the asbestos arena.
Undertaking asbestos Management and Refurbishment/Demolition surveys in accordance with HSG 264 according to Health and Safety regulations.
Undertaking re-inspection of asbestos identified previously by clients and ensuring that all work carried out is in accordance with the company's documentation, asbestos procedures, manual and Health and Safety and company procedures.
Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
Collating and producing accurate asbestos reports.
Assisting in training new staff - surveyors.
Overall, you will be versatile, smart, confident, have good work ethos, have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team and be prepared to travel extensively.
