Area Workshop Manager - Jewson - 40274

Working closely with 20 locations across Wales and the Midlands and the Tool Hire Operations team, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the Tool Hire Area workshop, whilst also managing a team of two Tool Hire fitters. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the workshop ensuring standards and costs are controlled whilst liaising with branches, suppliers and management and the logistics of the workshop vehicle.

Working with our other workshop teams, you will be responsible for the sourcing of spare parts and maintenance scheduling for our larger plant around the area, working effectively and within budget.

To be successful, you will have experience in a similar environment preferably in a manager role and have a good understanding of health & safety, electrical, petrol and diesel products. The successful applicant must also demonstrate excellent communication skills, which will be required at all levels. Ideally, you will also have a full driving licence.
