Application Support / SQL Server DBA / 2nd line support / SQL Database Administrator / SQL Server 2005 / 2008 - Microsoft BI / SQL Server
An application support / SQL Server DBA (Database Administrator) is required for a cutting edge professional services company based in Merseyside. As the Application Support / SQL Server DBA you will join a fast paced, steadily growing Production team that work closely with Business Intelligence / Development teams across the business.
The role would initially be to provide production support to database developers and MI across the business. In addition the role would comprise of managing SQL Server agent jobs, backing up databases and testing them, managing database security and tuning live databases, applying the most appropriate techniques to achieve the best compromise in performance.

- AJAX, ASP.Net, VB.Net;
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML;
- Database design and administration.
- Unit testing.

- Microsoft Certification;
- Windows Server;
- Agile delivery methodology
