Ideally we require someone with financial services experience or working in a regulatory environment, good communication skills both written and verbal, excellent organisation and attention to detail.
You must have excellent Excel skills.
You will be required to work as part of a team within the Custody & Control Department. You will work under the supervision of a Team Leader, adhering closely to regulations applicable to the processes you will be carrying out. You will need to maintain desktop procedure notes on the processes for which you are responsible.
You will be responsible for analysing and resolving reconciliation breaks. This will involve liaising with internal and external parties in a proactive and professional manner.
Client Money: These processes are responsible for analysing client money and control accounts. Once identified the items must be investigated and cleared via a journal or passed to another operational team to action/correct. The team is also responsible for calculating the shortfall on the client money bank / control accounts.
Custody: These processes are responsible for identifying unit discrepancies between the Cofunds Nominee and FAST position. Once identified and investigated these items are released into workflow, for other operational teams to carry out the corrections.

Qualifications:
- IOC (desirable)
- GCSE - English & Maths (required min C grade)
Experience:
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written (desirable)
- Working knowledge of Financial Services, particularly ISAs, PEPS and Collectives (desirable)
- Working knowledge of Pension/SIPP's (desirable)
Working knowledge of various software packages and in particular Excel, Frontier/Recon plus (desirable), Cashfac (desirable)
Due to the location of this role, we are only considering candidates who are within commutable distance to Chelmsford. Our client is located close to the train station and all bus routes into Chelmsford.
