Job Description
• Responsible for all aspects of the fund financial reporting services (including preparing high quality financial statements and underlying accounts files) to specified clients, in an efficient and speedy manner in line with section standards and procedures.
• Resolve queries arising from auditors, clients, third parties or as a result of file review in a timely fashion. Maintain strong relationships with all external parties.
• Liaise with internal teams (Valuations, TA etc.) on behalf of the auditors.
• Plan the accounts preparation/audit process and the timetables for assigned funds in advance of year/period end ensuring that all parties are in agreement. Monitor progress of accounts preparation and audit against timetable for assigned funds and following up to ensure that all deadlines are met.
• Ensure files are completed, signed, filed and distributed to all parties within prescribed deadlines.
• Keep up to date with local technical/regulatory developments (in particular Singapore FRS)
Person Specification
• This role needs to understand how the various teams interact, to produce the final Net Asset Values, and the importance of filing of financial statements with regulators, stock exchanges, etc., and distribution of the financial statements to investors in a timely fashion.
