Aftersales Director - Iraq

Our client is an automotive distributor based in Iraq; they retail a high volume of passenger cars and have a majority share of the market. The company is seeking an experienced automotive Aftersales Director with several years senior management experience to join their team.

The Role

• Supporting the COO, your main purpose will be to oversee and optimise the after- sales activities for passenger cars, covering spare parts sales and service provisions.
• Your key responsibilities will be the preparation and consolidation of realistic forecasts and performance targets, to manage the day to day operations, develop the after sales network , ensure quality of the after sales customer services and control costs ensuring budgets are met.
• You will be working closely with the Sales Channel Managers, overseeing relationships with key customers, and managing high level relations with OEM in association to after sales matters.

Who we're looking for

• Ideally you will be a proven successful Aftersales Director or Manager, a strategic leader preferably with multi-site responsibility within the automotive industry, and with a very good grasp of parts and service operations.
• You will have PLC or large group or manufacturer background at a senior level.
• You will need strong sales, interpersonal, communication, presentation and supervisory skills.
• Not less than 10 years in the field of Automotive on a managerial level
• Excellent communication skills in English (a bilingual candidate is highly preferable - Arabic & English) E
