Salary Range: £35,000 - £40,000/annum + Benefits
Summary of Advanced Nurse Practitioner:
MedicsPro is actively seeking a dynamic Nurse Practitioner to join the multi-disciplinary team at our client's Walk-in Centre in Portsmouth. The post holder will see and assess patients, escalating critical cases and treating and discharging others independently. The post holder will develop ongoing nursing plans emphasising preventative measures and order investigations when necessary. The ideal candidate is extremely competent and experienced and an assertive communicator, dedicated to change in patient care.
Skills/Requirements for Advanced Nurse Practitioner:
* NMC Registered
* Have a post registration qualification in autonomous practice or equivalent
* Be an Independent Prescriber (desirable)
* Be able to discharge patients autonomously
* Prioritise patient care throughout the unit, assuming shift leader responsibility allocating staff and resources effectively
* Have proven post registration experience including evidence of working in any of the following areas at senior level:
-A&E
-Minor Injuries
-Illness Unit
-Acute Specialities
