Organisation Description

A well established company based in Gillingham are looking for a experienced administrator/Customer service representative to join a team. This is initially a years contract and permanent for the right candidate.

The details of the role is to provide the local interface between the customer and the housing service in moving into and out of Service Family Accommodation

Job Description

Main/Specific Tasks:

Manage housing stock within a dedicated area of responsibility in accordance with departmental policy and agreed practice, and maintain a collaborative relationship with both occupants and the maintenance contractor to ensure delivery of a quality service.

Knowledge/understanding:

To maintain good/sound knowledge and understanding of department housing policy and its application.

Appointments: Carry out all Appointments as per the in housen diary schedule

Licence to Occupy: To manage the occupancy in accordance with the relevant procedures.

Should the Housing Officer become aware of occupants whose entitlement appears not to be in accordance with current rules, such cases are to be flagged to the Housing Manager in order that appropriate action can be taken with the chain of command.
