Investment Administrator

My client is a national financial services organisation that provides pensions and investment solutions to private clients and companies. A vacancy has arisen through recent expansion for an experienced Investment Administrator to support a team of busy Consultants in the Birmingham office.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Accurate preparation and reporting of clients' valuations and investment details
Processing and tracking new business requests and maintaining client investment details using in-house administration systems
Other processing duties include; reconciliation of client accounts, opening and closing banking accounts, transferring money, general banking
Prepare valuation packs to be sent a client
Process any other ad hoc administration requests

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of investments, pensions and financial planning. You must be analytical in nature and have excellent numerical skills (GCSE grade C or above in Maths). If you are progressing towards, or have attained your Financial Planning Certificate this would be an advantage.
