This is your chance to join an intelligent and friendly administrative team within an award winning specialist recruitment firm working from stylish offices in the West End. As one of only three people in the team, you will be pivotal from day one, which is great for those who like to take responsibility immediately.
Your principal duties will be twofold. First, you will have primary responsibility for reception (answering the phone, greeting visitors etc). You will also provide administrative support to a charismatic, yet utterly focused, business development director and a team of 30 consultants. This will include updating CVs on the company’s database, posting jobs on job boards, sending out company information etc. Whilst doing this, you’ll need to maintain clear, firm and friendly communication with your consultants who’d all like their work to be done yesterday!
As the company has offices in four countries, you’ll need to understand the challenge of working across cultural boundaries and with those for whom English is a second language.
Most of all, you will love the fast-paced challenge the role presents whilst maintaining attention to detail, a calm presence and a wish to continually improve best practice.
There is also great scope to progress within the company. Previous post holders have either joined the sales team or moved into office management/operations.
