Administration Assistant - SURREY

Our client is looking for an Administrator who will be responsible for the organisation and administration of advertising sales lead events and contras. In addition other tasks such as market research will be a key part of this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop relationships with event organisers
* Assist in the planning and implementation of all Ad sales events and contras

KEY TASKS:
* Assist in the contra process from negotiation through to fruition, including on-site building and dismantling of stands where applicable.
* Ensure that the correct magazines, collateral and stand promotional material is suitable and up-to-date for each event.
* Manage the onsite distribution of magazines. May require some manual work ie. Lifting boxes etc.
* Ensure that the magazines appropriate for each event are comprehensively distributed across stands and visitors alike, maximizing awareness of each title
* Keep all events activities within budget ensuring all expenditure are recorded.
* Conduct market research to aid future marketing planning

SPECIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

* Excellent and proven administrative skills required
* Excellent communications skills
* Strong interpersonal skills and
* Strong creative skills for marketing communications activities.
* Effective time management and organisational skills
* An understanding of the trade publishing industry
* Knowledge of brand development
* Strong copy writing skills an advantage
* Ability to take ownership and work independently to meet specified goals
* Ability to work effectively under pressure
