A role has arisen for an Actuarial Manager to provide specialist actuarial advice and analysis to allow our General Insurance business to deliver strategic and tactical objectives.

In this role you will be accountable for the delivery of key pieces of work ensuring that all regulatory requirements are adhered to. Utilising your effective stakeholder management skills, you will build and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external to the department. In this role you will be required to apply technical expertise and innovation in order to generate discussion and provide solutions to queries and problems. As a senior manager within the Actuarial department, you will cascade information, decisions and direction in a positive and effective manner, including difficult communications that may present some challenge.

You'll need, at minimum, a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a mathematical or scientific discipline, along with a great understanding of advanced actuarial techniques. With a proven background in personal lines general insurance in a pricing, reserving or capital environment, together with the ability to translate technical information in a clear and concise way.
