We are currently seeking an Acoustics and Noise Consultant to work in the South West for a multidisciplinary nationwide consultancy.
You will hold a degree in Acoustics or related discipline; have a minimum of 3 years commercial experience in environmental noise or acoustics consultancy, and also have a proven track record writing detailed reports.
Duties covered will include-
* Handling and reporting data.
* Undertaking noise propagation modelling.
* Compiling planning applications in line with EIA.
* Taking noise assessments and calculations.
Membership of the Institute of Acoustics is essential. A good understanding of the current acoustic and noise UK guidelines is also needed.
