My client is a small firm of accountants that are looking for an additional member of their accounts preparation team due to an impending retirement.
This role will report to one of the partners and have responsibility for:
Preparation on accounts for ltd companies, partnerships and sole traders up to partner sign off
VAT Returns
Client Book keeping
Overseeing work of junior members of the team
Dealing with client queries
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or studying towards their ACCA / ACA qualification and will have 3-5 years experience of working within a firm of accountants in a predominantly accounts preparation role.
