My client, a busy manufacturing firm, based in Harlow is looking for a dedicated Accounts Manager to join their team.
Job Description
• Full control of sales and purchase ledgers.
• Payroll including BACS, accruals, prepayments and budget preparation
• Assist in the mid-term planning and forecasting processes for the company
• Preparation of Management Accounts and cash flow forecasts including bank reconciliations and petty cash with attention to deadlines and accuracy
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and preparation for and liaison with the Auditors
• Consistently Review and improve the accuracy of monthly reporting and forecasting
• Preparation of the quarterly forecast process
• Preparation of the company’s quarterly VAT returns and reconciliation of key control accounts including VAT and PAYE
• Management of the Credit control department.
Person Specification
• Experience of using Sage 200 is essential
• Experience of producing full Management Accounts
• Payroll experience is essential including BACS, PAYE, budgets and all submissions.
• Strong organisational and planning ability with the ability to work independently and on own incentive.
• Excellent Communication skills
• Confidence in working with inter-company transactions, VAT, Intrastat, PAYE and Corporation Tax
• Part qualified ACCA or CIMA or QBE accountant would be desirable.
