Accounts & Data Analyst

My client is a local company based on the outskirts of Exeter with a small finance team and a turnover in excess of £20m, they are seeking to recruit a new role, an Analyst, to support the Group Finance Director in producing commercial analysis for the board.

Typical duties will include:

• Profitability analysis
• Analysis of accounts by product line and by customer
• Analysis of the causes of variances
• Reconciliation and analysis of charges by key suppliers
• Production of bespoke reports as required by the board and to support commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will have an accounting background with strong IT skills, an enquiring approach to information, experience of working with large databases and data analysis including trend information, with the ability and motivation to meet deadlines.
