My client is looking to recruit an experienced team member to cover accounting functions as well as administrative duties.
Key Duties:-
- Bank Reconciliations
- Expenses
- Forecasting/Headcount
- Sage Accounts
- VAT Returns
- Fixed Asset Register
- Bookkeeping to trial balance
- Sales Invoices (Credit Control. Intercompany sales invoices)
- Entering supplier invoices and paying suppliers
- Budget to Actual variance analysis
- Balance sheet analysis with corporate finance.
- Assisting auditors with yearly audit and tax return requirements
- Entering monthly journal in to Oracle accounts system (USA)
- Reconciliation between payroll and accounts
- Bank liaison
- Ad hoc reporting for MD
- Petty Cash
Administration
- All facilities and facility supplier liaison
- Office Supply purchasing
- Reception duties
- Lunch orders
- Meetings and Travel
- Ad hoc requests by management and employees
- Car Park rota/policy
- Post and couriers
- Organising collections and external events
If you have a minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience and have the following skills or abilities then we would love to hear from you:-
Sage
Oracle
Payroll experience (nice to have but not a necessity)
Good MS Office knowledge
Highly confidential
Approachable
Demonstrate initiative
Work as part of a team
Experience of office management and exposure to project management would be beneficial.
Exposure to Sharepoint, SAP would be an advantage
