Accounts Clerk and Office Administrator

My client is looking to recruit an experienced team member to cover accounting functions as well as administrative duties.

Key Duties:-

  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Expenses
  • Forecasting/Headcount
  • Sage Accounts
  • VAT Returns
  • Fixed Asset Register
  • Bookkeeping to trial balance
  • Sales Invoices (Credit Control. Intercompany sales invoices)
  • Entering supplier invoices and paying suppliers
  • Budget to Actual variance analysis
  • Balance sheet analysis with corporate finance.
  • Assisting auditors with yearly audit and tax return requirements
  • Entering monthly journal in to Oracle accounts system (USA)
  • Reconciliation between payroll and accounts
  • Bank liaison
  • Ad hoc reporting for MD
  • Petty Cash

Administration

  • All facilities and facility supplier liaison
  • Office Supply purchasing
  • Reception duties
  • Lunch orders
  • Meetings and Travel
  • Ad hoc requests by management and employees
  • Car Park rota/policy
  • Post and couriers
  • Organising collections and external events

If you have a minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience and have the following skills or abilities then we would love to hear from you:-

Sage

Oracle

Payroll experience (nice to have but not a necessity)

Good MS Office knowledge

Highly confidential

Approachable

Demonstrate initiative

Work as part of a team

Experience of office management and exposure to project management would be beneficial.

Exposure to Sharepoint, SAP would be an advantage
