Job Description
Reed Accountancy are currently looking to recruit an immediately available Accounts Assistant to join an established Scottish charity based on the east side of the city.
The role is to cover a period of long term sickness that is to last between 3-4 months.
To be considered for the role you must have the accounts experience required below and have the ability to pick up systems quickly and hit the ground running.
On a day to day basis you will be expected to (and must have experience of) the following-
* Maintaining the purchase and sales ledger
* Dealing with any invoice related queries
* Processing bank reconciliations
* All aspects of credit control
* Chasing aged debt via telephone, email and letter
* Maintaining the aged debtor report
The organisation use a Sage accounts package and experience of this is preferred.

Hours of work are- 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 9am-4.30pm on Fridays.
