Accounts Assistant

This client of Howett Thorpe is a fast growing, forward thinking company who is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on permanent basis.

About The Role   

Credit Control - To take charge of 300+ accounts through to litigation, periodically provide cover for another full time credit controller. ( this part of the role is 50%)

Purchase ledger - sole responsibility for the purchase ledger from matching invoices to goods received notes, costing & posting. Making payments in multiple currencies.

Various reporting functions to include EC sales list, Intrastat and commodity prices. Daily analysis reporting & month end accounts preparation, In addition to deputising for the Financial Controller.

The successful candidate will have experience in credit control, accounts payable, making payments in multiple currency and strong Excel skills. Experience of HSBCnet is an advantage. You will be proactive, accurate and have an eye for detail.
