: A well-established niche business has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their dedicated team.

Job Description
Duties will include:
* Matching supplier delivery notes to invoices and procesing these invoices with the accounting system
* Maintaining the cash book and preparation of weekly and monthly bank reconciliation and petty cash reconciliation
* Dealing with supplier / employee queries and resolving in the agreed timeframe
* Preparing regular payment runs to agreed deadlines
* General administration, including filing and maintenance of records
* Sending out customer invoices and customer statements
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Reviewing Aged Creditors on a monthly basis and resolving outstanding issues
* Chasing customers for payment of outstanding debt
* Posting quarterly VAT returns onto the government website
* Preparing wage details for the accountant, including new starter / leaver forms
Person Specification
Skills required:
* Previous Accounts Office experience
* Strong Microsoft and Excel skills and the ability to pick-up new systems quickly
* Good organisational and administrative skills
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Initiative
* Team working
* Good communication skills
* An ability to work to deadlines
* Good customer service skills
* Knowledge of Access, and the ability to speak French and / or German, would be added advantages
There will be a 40hr week, running 9-5.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch. 20 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays.
