I am presently representing a rapidly growing, company based on the outskirts of Hythe who are seeking a candidate to take control of the day to day running of their office.
Primarily this will include managing the accounts, specifically;-
- Payroll for c.10 employees
- Pay of subcontractors
- Input of purchase invoices and payment of such
- Raising of sales invoices and allocating monies
- Chasing outstanding debtors for payment
- Submitting the quarterly VAT Returns
- Submitting the monthly CIS Returns
- Carrying out a weekly bank reconciliation
As this company are still relatively small it is essential that you are prepared to take on any duties that might arise at the time.
To be considered it is ESSENTIAL that you have experience of all round accounting for a small organisation and ideally will have knowledge of CIS returns. The company use Quickbooks as their accounting package so knowledge of this would be highly desirable but not essential, however knowledge of accounting systems in general is essential as is the ability to quickly pick up new systems.
As the company grows your role will become more senior and naturally you will progress and develop as such.
