Harvey John is working with a firm of accountants based in Eastbourne with the requirement of an Accounts Assistant to join their successful team.
The candidate will be at least AAT qualified and preferably ACCA part qualified/qualified, who has the ability to prepare accounts for sole traders, limited companies, partnerships etc. It is preferable that an applicant will have experience of charity and solicitor accounts, along with SAR experience. This is not solely an accounts preparation role and you will be expected to assist with VAT returns and payroll when required.
There is potential for the right candidate to develop and progress through the firm and study support will be provided if required. At this time the client is flexible when it comes to hours within the working week, however it is preferred that the candidate work full time.
