Organisation Description

Our client is looking for someone to cover a one year maternity contract

Job Description

Assist in producing management accounts and providing business analysis and support to the operations function.

Responsibilities include:
• Delivery of accurate unit P&L accounts on time to the business. 
• Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments
• Reconciliation of inter-company accounts
• Post cash receipts and payments on a weekly basis
• Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Process depreciation and quarterly capital additions journals
• Assisting with the annual budgeting process for the Area Manager budgets
• Provision of ad hoc analysis and support to the business
• Liase with external auditors over the pub P&L performance at the annual audit
• Raising monthly and quarterly invoices as required
• Other ad hoc duties

Person Specification

• Strong academic record
• Previous experience producing multi-site retail accounts, or extensive experience auditing accounts in this business sector
• Advanced system skills to include Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Previous experience using Sun Systems and Cognos an advantage
• Experience dealing with Operations teams in a retail/leisure environment an advantage 

Our client is looking for someone on either a full time or part-time basis - they are fairly flexible depending on the candidate.
