Job Description

One of our clients who are a well known institution based on the West of Edinburgh are currently looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant / Receptionist. The ideal candidate will have some form of hospitality based background in a customer facing environment.

Key duties of the role:

* Maintaining the purchase and sales ledger
* Preparing bank reconciliations
* Assisting with VAT returns
* Managing petty cash and processing expenses
* Preparing month end reports
* Providing reception duties
* Meeting and greeting customers
* Managing the switchboard

Our client is looking for someone to be able to go in and hit the ground running. As a result, it is essential that you have experience in each of the key areas highlighted above. Experience of using Sage Line 50 would also be advantageous.

It is also essential that you have a customer facing personality and can demonstrate excellent customer service and communication when dealing with customers.
