Our client is a very successful travel company based in central London. They have doubled in size over the last 2 years and are looking for someone to join their Finance team for a maternity cover. The role will last for a minimum of 9 months and may go permanent. Responsibilities include:
Taking sole responsibility for the running of the purchase ledger for a number of companies, including approving and coding invoices and preparing payment runs.
Raising sales invoices.
Assisting with credit control.
Dealing with all customer and supplier queries.
Preparing bank reconciliations.
Collating and checking all staff expenses.
Producing accurate management account information for the Finance Manager.
Any ad hoc Finance duties.
To apply you will need to have at least a year in an Accounts Assistant/Purchase ledger role. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be confident in forming relationships. Candidates from a Media/PR/Travel industry background will be at an advantage.
