Accounts and Audit Senior

Exceptional opportunity to join this medium sized Firm in Southampton with a view to undertake accounts and audit services. You will be assisting Client Managers and Directors in providing and developing a strong, proactive service that generates confidence in existing and potential clients. Work is professional, timely and accurate. Proactive advice given wherever necessary.

Your main duties will be;

• To prepare and review  Management and Year End Accounts, based on information received from clients.
• Prepare advanced Tax computations, prior to review by Tax Department and Client Manager.
• Agree deadlines and expectations on all work with Client Manager / Director.
• Perform audit work in accordance with the audit planning prepared by Audit Managers

Ideally you will be either an ACCA recently qualified individual or studying for your final ACCA exams and be committed to developing your career and join this busy and expanding team. The client would look at AAT qualified individuals with a high degree of Practice experience. Your role will involve daily accountancy duties being carried out to a high standards, making amendments to PAYE, preparing VAT returns and workings, dealing with queries of incorrect statements or account issues, and dealing with accounts of both small and big business.
