Qualified Accountant required to work for small but friendly practice in Tunbridge Wells, which specialises cross sector, including insurance, medical, and motor industries.
The salary for this position is £30,000 to £40,000 per year and offers excellent career progression, with the ability to progress to partner level.
You will be a strong technically qualified Accountant who is looking to join a busy but friendly team. Your role will be to manage, plan and lead your assigned portfolio of audit clients and reporting directly into partners. You will have good audit knowledge with an all round experience of practice
Duties will include:
Managing key client relationships and ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with.
Visit clients off-site .
Planning and manage the audit process including resources, carrying out briefings and review meetings.
Business development, including attending network events, and cross selling services .
Coaching and developing staff .
Managing and motivating staff .
You will be:
A qualified accountant. (ACA/ACCA or equivalent or by experience)
A working knowledge of UK GAAP and international auditing standards.
Experience of managing junior members of staff.
Good interpersonal skills, communication skills, report writing, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
You will also have a hand-on attitude, and have the ability to think outside the box.
