Accountant - UK Statutory and Regulatory Reporting Role is responsible for delivering quality and timely UK Statutory accounting, reporting and analysis. As an Accountant - UK Statutory and Regulatory Reporting your main responsibilities will include:- Support the Manager - UK Statutory and Regulatory Reporting by producing effective Financial Reporting and Controls by Continuous improvement of UK Statutory financial reporting and controls to proactively identify and resolve issues impacting financial statements Completing the financial reporting process to time and without material errors and resolving internal and external audit issues Ensuring UK GAAP accounting policies are understood, documented and consistently applied UK Specific accounting and reconciliations ("L" Book Code) UK Statutory to US GAAP reconciliations TC4/capital analyses and statutory impairment reviews Work effectively with internal and external auditors and ensure requirements are met Ensure that deliverables are being completed on a timely basis per the UK Statutory timetable Understand and follow the Aon Leadership Model and take ownership of personal development Assist Manager - Financial Controls with Sox testing and other control related projects on an Ad Hoc basis during non-financial close periods Maintain personal and professional development Keep up to date with IFRS; UK and US GAAP reporting standards As an Accountant - UK Statutory and Regulatory Reporting your key skills and experience should include:- Qualified or part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) Accountant experienced in financial reporting activities Insurance/insurance broking industry preferred Current knowledge of UK GAAP accounting.
