The Role:
- Build maintain and develop profitable sales by developing existing business and recently acquired clients.
- Manage client expectations and sell solutions to existing and developing clients
- Ensure that margins are appropriate to maximise profitability and to compete effectively in the marketplace
- Consolidate business to ensure future activity
- Use Competitive Activity, marketing press and telephone prospecting to identify and convert new users and existing clients of competing companies with a view to building a bank of named clients
- Meet sales targets through account management of key clients
- Attend meetings giving presentations where necessary to sell company services
- Produce proposals, tailoring content to provide suitable solutions to client briefs
- Ensure client retention by establishing contractual relationships
- Participate in sales pitches as required
- Use sales skills to overcome objections, negotiate prices and successfully close sales
- Maintain and develop client relationships to ensure ongoing working relationships are forged with senior management and key decision makers.
- Discuss campaigns with clients and make recommendations on how to use their services
- Prepare proposals for client’s review
- Create bespoke presentations to be delivered regularly to groups of up to 20 people
- Secure annual agreements to aid the planning process and consolidate relationships
- Attend hospitality events to develop relationships with clients where possible
- Be available for clients by phone or email and keep them informed of the progress of their campaigns at all times
- Involvement in / responsible for managing small and medium accounts with support from the Account Director, Head of Sales and other Directors
- Establish, maintain & develop relationships with clients through a regular contact plan, providing expert industry knowledge, strategic input and a thorough understanding of the clients business
- Grow / Stretch business from existing clients through use of variety of sales, marketing and communication techniques including meetings, presentations, workshops
- Provide service levels that as a minimum meet Service Levels agreed or described by contractual agreements. Seek to exceed service level delivery in order to optimise flow of profitable business
- Negotiate client contracts and agreements (eg. Annual contracts and contracts over a period of time) at decision maker level and in doing so for initial contracts, agreements that need renewing that agreed price increases and service level agreements are harmonious with the company strategy going forward
Salary information: £25,000 - £28,000 + up to 40% bonus & Company Car
