Urgent Requirement - Senior Account Manager and Account Manager

An opportunity has arisen to work for a very large corporate client, specializing in Media based projects located in Essex. They are interviewing immediately.

This is a truly fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Manager. We are seeking ideally someone who has worked with large clients, not telesales or Business Development, just pure Account Management.


Essential

  • Minimum GCSE standard English/Math’s
  • PC literate, including internet and email skill
  • Proven administration skills
  • Proven organisational skills
  • MS Office skills

Desirable

  • Understanding of the print production process
  • Understanding of the digital production process, especially for Smart Phones and Tablet applications
  • Experience of working in a creative agency

Circumstances

(E.g. able to work overtime, travel abroad, lives locally)

  • Able to work overtime as and when required
  • Valid Driving License

Responsible to: Senior Account Manager

Department: Client Services

Job purpose:

Provide support to the Senior Account Manager either independently managing assigned projects, or managing tasks within projects as briefed and under instruction from Senior Account Manager as required.  

  • To act as an interface between our client and their client on assigned accounts, developing a one to one relationship with clients, providing total client support and service and deliver best advice.
  • To communicate the client's needs to the internal team.  
  • To assist in the pursuit of additional business opportunities with existing clients.

Key accountabilities

  • Provide professional advice to clients on all aspects of marketing communications, from strategy to delivery.
  • Develop a long-term relationship with clients by personal contact.
  • When independently managing jobs, assigned by Senior Account Manager, the Account Manager is responsible for:
  • -?Client contact
  • -?Manage client expectations in terms of delivery
  • -?Manage client presentations of work and approvals at each stage
  • -?Manage all client meetings and presentations
  • -?Ensure status reports are updated and issued regularly

When supporting larger projects managed by the Senior Account Manager, the Account Manager is responsible for:

  • Raising job numbers
  • Write briefs
  • Agree estimate with Project Manager
  • ?Agree timing plan with Project Manager
  • ?Agree the points 3 and 4 with client
  • ?Brief work in to creative
  • ?Write respect sheets and contact reports
  • Support QC1 and QC2 process
  • Ensure invoices are paid within 90 days.
  • To keep line management informed of the status on all projects and any issues arising.
  • Work closely with the Project Managers to ensure seamless communications of client requirements.
  • To assist in the drive for 'additional business’ from existing clients.
  • Manage regular job housekeeping.
  • Provide cover for Senior Account Manager when deemed necessary.
  • Ensure personal admin (timesheets, expenses etc are up to date).
