The Top 250 team is one of the fastest growing teams, with growth significantly over plan. We are looking for an Account Manager to further accelerate this growth by strengthening our existing relationships with key clients and identifying opportunities to develop these accounts. There will also be a number of key new business accounts the Account Manager will be responsible for acquiring.
The Account Manager will work from the office to initiate their business development activities as well as travel to client sites as required to develop relationships with key stakeholders, deliver presentations and close sales.
Principle Accountabilites:
- Proactively contact potential clients within market segment to develop relationships with key stakeholders
- Schedule and attend meeting with clients
- Make presentations to clients to sell the various solutions and benefits of using reed.co.uk
- Understand client resourcing requirements and use this knowledge to develop potential solutions that address these for the client
- To maximise the conversion of opportunities by proactively targeting destination clients, competitor clients and leads from the telesales team
- Ensure all business development activity is recorded on Salesforce
- Write contracts and proposals that conform to agreed standards, within agreed timeframes
- Negotiate contract pricing within agreed limits ensuing that all business won meets agreed margins
- Maintain business relationships with contracted clients to ensure continued utilisation of reed.co.uk and identify opportunities to sell further products or solutions
- Work to ensure that existing clients renew their contracts
- Work with other sales teams to develop knowledge and share best practice to ensure that sales opportunities are maximised.
- Maintain communications with the development team to ensure that opportunities to introduce new offerings are identified, considered and implemented
Key Performance Indicators:
- To secure new wins that contribute to becoming a market leader by capturing a greater proportion of the recruitment market
- To secure profitable long term deals in line with strategic objectives with a cumulative value to meet the growth plan for the business
- Identify key stakeholders within current and potential new businesses capturing intelligence and developing business relationships with them
- Agreed sales activity levels recorded on Salesforce
Experience:
A proven and demonstrable sales track record on a face to face level, ideally in the online recruitment advertising market.
Knowledge:
- Able to attain a trusted advisor status with client contacts at all levels
- Market and/or specialist product knowledge
- An excellent and persuasive communicator at all levels
- IT literate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
