The Role

The Account Manager will work on one of the largest technology accounts in the Corporate Division. In your role you will be expected to take a leading and autonomous role within the team, delivering against tight client briefs, always thinking about outstanding client service and budget ROI. You will engage with a range of individual clients directly, building on existing relationships and creating a strong strategic partnership.
Your role will include:
• Creating, monitoring and delivering against tight project schedules
• Client relationship management
• Brainstorming and identifying creative solutions
• Event marketing campaign strategy development, and execution
• Managing event project teams
• Budgeting and financial management of projects
• Supplier sourcing, negotiation and management
• Responsibility for audience generation
• Taking a proactive approach to project and over-all account management
• Developing creative solutions to problems and challenges

The candidate:

We are looking for an articulate, confident and ambitious Account Manager or Senior Account Executive with relevant experience in the IT or Technology sectors (sector experience preferable but not a pre-requisite). You must thrive in a client facing role and have excellent problem solving skills. You must also be able to demonstrate you have the following:
• B2B marketing and events experience (essential)
• Great people skills and first class client service skills
• Experience executing campaigns, both offline and online
• Project management skills and experience
• Interest in digital and online marketing
• Budget and financial management experience
• Project team management skills
• Ability to build, develop and maintain effective relationships
• Account development experience
