This exciting role has become available within a fantastic Company. The company trades with thin the Automotive Industry and This is a sales/account management position requiring the holder to support the departments relationship with existing customers.

You will be supporting existing account managers on existing and new business opportunities in accordance with the company's strategic objectives.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

· Supporting the account managers maintenance and development of relationships with existing customers to promote customer confidence and secure improvements in volumes and margins.

· Over time you will develop account management responsibilities in their own right taking on their own portfolio of projects and customers.

A good appreciation of mechanical design and development activities, ideally within a Tier 1 Automotive environment, is important as is a desire to succeed in technical sales. Overseas travel maybe necessary within this role, mainly within UK and Europe.

Preferred Experience/ Skills Required:

1. Have the potential to plan effectively and deal with customer accounts.

2. Be able to support account managers in understanding technical requirements and gain customer confidence in delivering the right solution.

3. Previous commercial experience in a similar role although the right person will be expected to develop with experience.

4. Experience in the design, development and/or manufacture of engine products.

5. Possess the determination and perseverance to succeed in a competitive environment.

6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A European language would be an advantage
