About the role of Account Manager

Due to growth, we are now looking to recruit for an Account Manager to be based in the London office. You will inherit an existing account base spread across various markets including: Media, Broadcasting, Publishing, Technology and Telecommunications.

Within your allocated accounts your objective is to generate and develop new sales opportunities whilst preventing cancellations and provide excellent Account Management to the client base in order to create opportunities to increase the existing revenue and in the process remove the threat from other competitors.

This role is very much 'client facing’ and you will be responsible for selling a range of services including: industry reports, market intelligence and subscription based research. You will be joining a high performing team of Account Managers and will be reporting into the Account Director.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven track record in Account Management (minimum 3 years experience in a dedicated Account Management role)
  • Degree educated
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of working within business information, digital media, business intelligence, media intelligence or broadcast based media is preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets within an account management role is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships
