This is a great opportunity to become part of a friendly, expanding company in the centre of Bath. Working within a team of 5 sales executives you will be integral to the development and account management of their extensive client base.
Job Description
As an Account Executive, your key responsibilities will be:
1. Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contacts towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
2. Plan and manage personal business territory according to an agreed development strategy.
3. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions, ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
4. Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
5. Support local marketing activities and integrate personal sales efforts with product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
6. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
7. Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
8. Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
9. Attend and present at trade exhibitions necessary to aid business development.
10. Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
Person Specification
To be successful in this role, you will need to be self motivated and results orientated with a positive outlook, a clear focus on quality service and an eye for design led products. We are looking for someone who is a natural forward planner who critically assesses their own performance. You must be a team player, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ideally you will have a background in sales/account management, but a stable background within fashion/boutique retail will be considered.
