Account Executive

Our clients, a global logistics company based in Newcastle, are seeking to recruit an Account Executive working within Supply Chain Solutions.

The job holder will be responsible for managing the relationship with existing accounts, in addition to, securing and managing new business.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for business retention with existing customers
• Targeting the appropriate number of potential customers to generate new business revenue.
• Ability to educate themselves on the Company Focus to be able to sell the core products of an extensive portfolio
• Organising the working day by territory planning, responsible for making own appointments

Skills required:

• Must be computer literate with practical experience of Microsoft Office
• Minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A team player with the ability to work on own initiative

You may be required to work additional or/and unsociable hours to meet the needs of the entire operation. Flexibility is necessary; working hours would be approximately 37.5 hrs per week cumulative with one hour unpaid lunch breaks (Mon- Fri).

The right candidate will be offered a negotiable salary dependant on experience.
