Our client a very successful FMCG company are seeking a pro active candidate who can assist a very busy Sales Manager with Key accounts , this is an extremely exciting opportunity for the right candidate to manage and grow a range of grocery retail accounts and assist in developing top top tier multiple retailers. The role will allow a large element of autonomy, with some P & L responsibility, as well as involvement and influence of the NPD process. This opportunity requires full involvement in negotiating and working with our manufacturers on the continent to ensure that retailer’s needs are met and providing administrative assistance wherever necessary within the day to day business. This is an office based role with occasional UK and European travel.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate must have previous account management experience within grocery retail, preferably within the food sector. They must be agile, quick witted, disciplined and hungry to succeed. In addition, excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills are essential, as are high levels of computer literacy and numeracy. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a compact streamlined team that delivers outstanding results.
The Package:
Salary of between £18,000 and £22,000 depending on experience.
