A great opportunity exists for a confident and enthusiastic Account Director with a strong technology background to join an energetic Public Relations and Communications consultancy company which was established in 2001. They are very well versed in delivering great PR and they create great campaigns for a wide range of clients both in the UK and internationally.
Role
The ideal candidate would be a talented individual who would be responsible for servicing, managing and growing our highest profile accounts. The company work in multiple sectors including cloud, mobile devices, security, e-commerce, telecoms. marketing technology, professional services and networking.
This is a pivotal role within the business and as part of the management team you will play a key role in the development and growth of the business and be involved and consulted in all major business decisions.
You will report directly to an Associate Company Director and will manage two Account Managers and three Account Executives across a matrix structure. In addition you will be directly responsible for the career development for one Account Manager and one Account Executive and as the team is likely to expand as the business grows, this role offers the opportunity for career development.
Candidate Skills
4+ years experience in the technology/B2B sector preferably from working in a PR Company
An interest in developing new business would be key
Desire to accelerate the development of the company by making a difference
Proven ability to manage campaigns
Taking the lead and have a natural flair for motivating people.
A knowledge and insight gained through a passion for the media and breaking trends.
An entrepreneurial spirit and a hunger to succeed.
You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to be considered for this role
Package
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of £40-£45k (dependent on experience) + annual bonus based on business and performance + 25 days holiday + other benefits.
