Concorde Specialist Logistics are currently recruiting for a 7.5t Driver, duties will include, to load and unload all vehicles according to the requirements specified by the Team Leader.  To deliver and collect all stock in accordance with Company routing plan and delivery schedule.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • To transport stock safely, and avoid damage to goods, to the destination as defined by the delivery schedule and instructions.
  • To remove and transfer stock from the location as authorised by Manager or appointed member of staff for onward transportation.
  • To sign for any stock to be transferred or returned to the warehouse.
  • To ensure that the vehicle is sealed and secure before leaving any Company premises or if being left overnight.
  • Report back to the Team Leader or Transport Manager with accompanying documentation and adhere to further instructions given.
  • To comply with all Company security rules and procedures at all times.
  • To check the vehicles for roadworthiness and report any defects to the Team Leader or Transport Manager.
  • Ensure that there is sufficient amount of fuel required for the journey and check the oil, tyre pressure, water etc on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure that the tachograph is used correctly for each journey.
  • To carry out all duties as specified by the Team Leader/Line Manager in a timely and safe manner.
  • Be a flexible team player to ensure that the team objectives are achieved in a timely manner.
