Leading Cloud Computing provider, Commensus PLC are currently seeking 1st Line Engineers to work on our 24 hour support desk. Working hours are based upon a shift pattern of between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, in total working 37.5 hours per week.
This is an excellent opportunity to enter the world of cloud computing for a growing company that will enable you to progress from 1st Line to 2nd Line.
As a successful candidate you will be local in Surrey and be able to drive. You will be fluent in english and easy to understand on the telephone. A clear and comprehensible accent is imperitive to our customer service.
You will have at least 1 year's experience working in a support desk environment and must have experience in all the skills below;
- Experience in logging and dealing with desktop issues (remote support, diagnosing possible hardware faults)
- Experience in logging and dealing with user issues (logon problems, network connections)
- Experience in logging and understanding server related issues (services that have stopped, disk space and storage, performance troubleshooting)
You will also have solid knowledge and experience working on the following Software and Applications;
- Windows XP thru 7 Desktop
- Office XP thru 2007/2010
- Windows server 2003/2008
- Active Directory
Training in Microsoft, VMware and Citrix is provided.
