Salary: $4,000 per month
Bonus/PSU: PSU (Profit Share Unit) Target$4000 per annum

Main Liaison:
Internal: Operations and Facility Managers
External: Contractors, Suppliers
Prime Objective:
Assist with projects involving the construction, reconstruction, maintenance, inspection, testing and repairs of electrical and power generator systems.
Key Tasks:
Conduct the operation and maintenance of the following: Electrical cables and wiring, power generators, facility electrical utility equipment and distribution lines.
To install, inspect, repair, operate and maintain electrical distribution, generators, motors, pumps, cables, wiring and all other electrical systems and to do related works as required.
To install, inspect, repair, operate and maintain electrical and generator systems, equipment, such as pump stations, pumps, generator systems, electric distribution.
To install, inspect, and repair lighting, switches, receptacles, generators, power distribution / breaker panel; To cut, thread, and bend pipes according to requirements;
Maintain facility maps for all existing and new components of the electric distribution systems. Responsible for testing, sampling, inspecting, record keeping and reporting in accordance with applicable regulations/ policies.
Perform quality testing in accordance with regulatory requirements to insure safe electrical distribution and power generation system; inspects, tests and repairs all electrical distribution equipment and power generators.
Accountable for the inspection, maintenance, and asset management of all tools, equipment and personal protective clothing and conducts regular inventory of the same.
Accountable for the Testing, sampling, inspecting, record keeping and reporting in accordance with US, and Local regulations/policies.
Able to work from plans and specifications and follow rough sketches and oral and written instructions; and related capacities and abilities.
Flexible to work a variety of hours to include power outages, short circuits and other emergency situations to ensure the proper functioning of the BU’s electrical and power generator utility services.
To perform any other work as required by Line Manager.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
Minimum five years experience as a Certified Electrician with experience in working to the US NEC Electrical standards.
Must be a US registered NEC. Electrician.
Possess a broad range of electrical installation skills in other trade areas such as Plumbing / HVAC to assist as required with installing and commissioning these types of installations.
Experienced in the operation and maintenance of pumps, motors, voltmeters and gauges.
Proven knowledge of safety measures, hazards and precautions.
Ability to work from plans/specifications and to follow rough sketches and English oral and written instructions.
Desirable:
Experience of working to the UK and European electrical standards.
Experience is preferred with pumps, construction and maintenance of water distribution / collection systems water storage facilities, water meters, power and hand tools, plumbing repairs and other water/ septic specific equipment.
Experience of living and working in difficult environments such as Afghanistan or Iraq and on a military base camp is a distinct advantage.
Experience of working with Fuels and other dangerous zone installations.
Experience with electrical distribution and power generators, construction work, and proven record of dependability.
