The North's major PPC player is seeking an additional Senior PPC Campaign Manager. The role will involves managing SMEs and some big household name blue chip PPC campaigns ranging anywhere up to £40,000 per month budgets across all three search engines. The role is also responsible for two other members of staff with the opportunity to develop the department with further staff depending on revenue increases. The individual’s performance will be judged on the retention of PPC clients and development of overall revenues and spends for the PPC client base that my client has.
Looking for at least one year’s PPC experience, fluent with excel, Adwords editor and PPC platforms across Yahoo, Google and MSN. The successful candidate should also be capable in face to face meetings presenting data and work carried out.
Salary bracket ranges up to £23k for the right candidate and dependant upon experience. Local candidates preferable but not essential
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to deliver results for big name clients and to progress staff management skills if they have the right PPC management skills.
The Specific Purpose & Scope of Role is as follows:
• Responsible for own set of PPC accounts to manage, maintain and maximise through pay per click
• Responsible for the management and upkeep of the overall sheets, include Cog Sheet and PPC account database.
• Update of the board to ensure the full process of campaign building has been complete.
• Responsible for the work carried out by all PPC Campaign Managers to ensure performance metrics are met.
• To manage and maintain new and existing clients through PPC on Google, Yahoo, MSN and Miva.
• To report on monthly activity for both PPC and Shopping Portals for the account managers
• To manage the PPC data and Shopping portal data.
• Optimisation of Shopping Portals where and if necessary.
• Optimisation of PPC data to improve structure and performance.
• Building advertising campaigns for newly signed and existing clients.
• Liaising with clients and our contacts at the search engines to resolve issues and develop existing accounts.
• Attending client meetings.
• Weekly article writing on a PPC related topic for the corporate blog.
• Updates to the company PPC Training Manual.
• Building of accounts across all engines.
• Reviewing PPC accounts in related industry sectors to current set of accounts to provide inside info to help sign up the account.
• High degree of analytics expertise is required to be successful at this role. These include analytics analysis, PPC data analysis for Google, Yahoo and MSN, and advertising/buying cycle application to improve client return rates.
• This is an ROI driven role where campaigns are optimized to achieve ROI or CPA metrics.
• Keep up to date within the PPC marketplace.
• Ensure budget spends are being maximized across all search engines
• To promote the use of all functionality within the PPC advertising arena, including image, video, and text ads, local business ads, mobile ads, content network and search network – details of which to be fed back to the account manager if requires more budget.
• Report back to Head of Account Management will updates on department activity.
